Jungle Bath
Scope: We replaced the tub with a large shower enclosed with textured glass to open up the space and create an atrium feel, selected all new materials & fixtures, and designed the custom cabinetry.
Programming: Aside from creating a totally unique jungle vibe for this space, the clients also desired more functionality. The tub was never used, so a larger shower was a better option. And without any windows in this bath, we removed the shower wall enclosures and replaced them with glass to allow for a more spacious feel. This also optimized the lighting since the desired aesthetic called for darker walls.
Style: The clients came to us with the jungle theme in mind, so once we’d sourced just the right wallcovering, we completed the design with oversized green penny round tile & deep green walls to tie it all together. The geometric floor tile adds contrast to play off the organic shapes, and warm custom cabinets both increase storage space & give the space a cozy vibe.
